Hamza Media Collective was formed in response to the biased and inadequate coverage of the genocide in Gaza by the media in Metro Vancouver, as well as the efforts of the local Palestinian solidarity movement to bring attention to the ongoing atrocities.
Our goal is to amplify the messages of and provide a platform for these tireless organizers and activists to be heard locally, nationally, and internationally. Our aim is to collectively share and shape the narrative around this fight for justice and make sure these stories are heard.
How we can help you
In the near future, we hope to provide media support to local organizers and activists who want to receive media attention on their protests, rallies, campaigns, and actions, but aren’t sure where to start or need feedback and tips.
We also hope to provide media training workshops and teach-ins for interested allies and accomplices.
